The Vamps Go Shirtless During Some Downtime on Tour - See The Pic!

Speaking with the Express & Star recently, Brad opened up about how the band learned to grow up in the spotlight.

“It’s taken a while to get used to being famous,” he shared. “Me and Connor started the band when we were 15. It’s not just been about The Vamps. Part of the whole thing has been about learning to grow up.”

Brad adds, “It’s been about that as much as it’s been about getting used to being in a band. We’ve had to have time to grow up as people. But everything becomes easier as you get older because you grow more used to it. We’re more comfortable now than we were before, though it took time to change.”

Here's Why The Vamps Had To Stop Accepting Fan Mail

The Vamps‘s Brad Simpson gets that center stage moment during their concert over the weekend at SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.

Brad joined bandmates James McVey, Tristan Evans and Connor Ball at the venue on their brand new tour.

In a recent interview, The Vamps opened up as to why they don’t accept fan mail any more – and it all has to do with some pretty gross things they were sent in years past.

“I was once sent a bag of pubes…in a sealed plastic bag,” James revealed.

Connor added, “I opened a parcel with a used sanitary towel in once. It had YOLO written on it.” Not cool!

“We had to actually ban fan mail because well 1.) there was a lot of it and 2.) some of it was disgusting,” Tristan explained.

James also recalled that someone also sent “a knife with blood on it. So stuff like that is a bit dark.”

The Vamps Hope Their New 'Night & Day' Tour Will Head To The US

The Vamps are headed out on an all new tour, starting this weekend, and they can not wait!

In a new interview, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans hyped up the upcoming shows for their fans.

“It’s going to be a Vamps collection. Obviously, it’s the Night and Day Tour, so we’ll be playing a lot of stuff from the Night edition of the album as well as songs from the first and second albums,” Tristan shared. “We’re going to try and do something different. It’ll all sound a bit different.”

He added that the guys were excited to get back on stage before opening up about the “new sound” fans will get to hear.

“The tour is new, it’s different and we’re taking a different angle with it,” he says. “The new sound is much different to our old sound, the first album, and we’re refreshing the new songs to sound current Vamps. I think the new sound is to get specific ‘airy pads’. The first one was more acoustic guitar, the second album was more synths and this one is more airy synths, more atmospheric.”

Connor also revealed that it was Tristan behind the whole production of the shows.

“Tristan produces all of the show, including the music and stuff. He works with our screen guy too so we can hear how it’s all going to sound before we even get to the stage.”

Connor added that the tour will start in “Europe and then hopefully that can cross to the rest of the world as well. It’s quite a long tour. We’re hoping to go to the US and South America, hopefully in the summer.”
