Kelsea Ballerini sang her latest hit single “half of my hometown” on the season finale ofThe Voice on Tuesday (May 25) in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old country star was joined by one of this season’s finalists Kenzie Wheeler for the performance.
“so much joy being a small part of this season of @nbcthevoice, and goodness it felt good to sing tonight. thank you @kenziewheelermusic for lending that stellar voice, sending you all the good luck. 🤍,” she wrote on Instagram afterwards.
The 28-year-old Jonas Brothers singer reportedly injured himself on the set of an upcoming show and not much was known at the time, but he just revealed what happened.
Nick provided an update on his condition while appearing on the live episode of The Voice on Monday night (May 17).

The Voice is currently in the midst of season 20, with the battle rounds continuing on Monday, April 5th and April 12th at 8pm ET/PT on NBC.
Nick Jonas‘ battle advisor for the upcoming 20th season of The Voice has been revealed!
NBC announced the news that Glee star Darren Criss will be the 28-year-old entertainer’s advisor.
Darren took to Instagram to share his thanks for being Nick‘s choice to help out this season.
“I know I joke a lot about being a bonus Jonas. But I guess if you joke enough about something, dreams… come… true? That’s the saying, right?” he wrote. “Fo REAL tho, thank you @nickjonas for inviting me as your battle advisor this season on @nbcthevoice !!! #TeamNick #SorryKevin #SorryJoe”
Other advisors on the upcoming season, premiering March 1st, are Luis Fonsi for Team Kelly, Brandy for Team Legend and Dan + Shay for Team Blake!
If you didn’t know, Nick and Darren actually have a bit of history together. They both starred as J. Pierrepont Finch in the Broadway musical How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying. Nick took over the role when Darren‘s engagement in the show was over. They even performed the song “Brotherhood of Man” together at Darren‘s 2018 Elsie Fest!
The 28-year-old entertainer announced on Tuesday morning (November 17) that he’s returning to the hit competition series next season.

Nick joins Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend, who have been the three main judges since season 16. Nick and Gwen Stefani have been alternating the fourth chair the last few seasons, this being his second season as a coach.
Back on season 18, Nick‘s first season, his artist Thunderstorm Artis made it into the finals and came in third place!
The Voice season 19 is currently in the Knockout Rounds and airs weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC. Season 20 will premiere in 2021.
