The most popular movies on streaming services last year have been revealed.
Nielsen has unveiled streaming numbers for the biggest movies in 2022, with only two streaming platforms on the list – Netflix and Disney+, which are the two biggest platforms out there!
The No 1 movie may or may not surprise you, but the difference between it and the No 2 movie was over 10 billion minutes.
This data was compiled by Nielsen’s streaming ratings, which don’t include minutes watched on phones or computers. It also only covers audiences watching in the United States.
More than half of the most streamed movies are animated features, with only six live-action films on the list.
4*Town has a brand new music video out now for their song “1 True Love“!
The fictional boy band from the Disney/Pixar movie Turning Red consists of members Aaron Z., Aaron T., Robaire, Jesse and Tae Young, and have three full songs on the soundtrack.
The video follows the character Tyler from the movie, who is a bully with a major secret love for 4*Town, and we see part of his love for the boy band.
Disney is adding more Grammy nominations to it’s ever growing list of achievements!
The company has music from TWO of their movies nominated this year, competing in the same category.
Fictional boy band 4*Town – Jordan Fisher, Finneas, Topher Ngo, Josh Levi, and Grayson Villanueva – was nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media for the hit “Nobody Like U.” If the song wins, songwriters Billie Eilish and Finneas will take home the award. In the same category, Encanto‘s mega-hit “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” was also nominated, with Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s songwriting credit.
Encanto was also nominated for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media for composer Germaine Franco and Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
Turning Red has just been released on digital TODAY (April 26)!
Along with the release, Disney and Pixar have also revealed three deleted scenes from the movie.
Also available when you purchase Turning Red on digital is four more deleted scenes, three featurettes and audio commentary with the director Domee Shi.

If you didn’t know, the song was written by Finneas and Billie Eilish, who also penned the other two 4*Town songs, “1 True Love” and “U Know What’s Up.”
In addition, another Disney song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” remains in the top 10 on the chart, but has moved down to the No. 6 position. Also charting from Encanto is “Surface Pressure” at No. 35, “The Family Madrigal” at No. 55, “What Else Can I Do?” at No. 73, “Dos Oruguitas” at No. 74 and “Waiting On A Miracle” at No. 100.

The new comedy introduces Mei Lee, a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager.
And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda!
Turning Red features three original songs written by Billie Eilish and Finneas, and even has some familiar faces lending their voices to the cast.
