Will Poulter and Jacob Latimore are headed back to the 1960s in director Kathryn Bigelow‘s Detroit Riots movie.
The two young actors will join Jack Reynor, Algee Smith, and John Boyega in the flick, which will center on the famed 1967 Detroit Riots.
Will, Jacob and Algee will all have lead roles the film, which will span over the five days when the riots between police and civilians that left 43 people dead and over 1,000 injured.
Filming has already begun in Detroit, Michigan.

The 23-year-old British actor met up with some friends for a summer holiday on the island in the Mediterranean Sea.
Just recently, the trailer for Will‘s new film, Kids in Love, was released.
“‘Kids In Love’ was a passion project for me personally and I know everyone working on it felt the same way,” Will shared about the film. “A lot of heart was put into this movie, and I think that heart definitely translates on screen.”

Last week, the 23-year-old actor premiered his latest film Kids in Love during the Edinburgh International Film Festival at Cineworld in Edinburgh, Scotland.
That same day, a terrorist attack at Istanbul Ataturk Airport in Turkey claimed the lives 41 people and injured more than 230, according to the latest report.
Will took to his Twitter account to share his condolences after the gruesome attack.
Another horrific tragedy in Turkey. There are no words that will mend the damage or help ease the loss of life. Love and strength to Turkey.

Before the premiere, Will expressed how excited he was to have the movie at the festival.
“This will be the first time seeing it on the big screen, so it’s very exciting,” he told the Belfast Telegraph.
Kids in Love is set to hit theaters on August 26th.

It was just announced that the 23-year-old actor’s new film, Kids in Love, will make it’s premiere on at the Edinburgh Film Festival later this month.
Also starring Cara Delevingne, Sebastian De Souza, and Jamie Blackley, the flick centers on a young man drifting through his ‘gap year’ when a chance encounter with a beautiful woman (Alma Jodorowsky) swerves his life radically off course. He quickly becomes caught up in a whirlwind of all-day parties and wild nights in London’s hidden dives with her charismatic friends.
After the festival, Kids in Love will hit UK theatres and be On Demand on August 26th, followed by the DVD release on August 29th.
