Milo Manheim Does Get Nervous Thinking About Becoming The Youngest Male Winner on 'DWTS'

Milo Manheim and Witney Carson completely killed it during the semi-finals on Dancing With The Stars last night – and now they’re going to the finals!

The 17-year-old actor will join Evanna Lynch, Bobby Bones and Alexis Ren in the finals next week and by the sound of it, the weight of possibly being the youngest male winner ever on the show is getting to him.

“I get nervous about it,” Milo shared with TV Insider. “When I first started, I was very intimidated being the youngest person.”

He added, “Not being able to jump into a conversation right away. I thought people were looking at me like the little kid, but now that I made it this far they realize my age is not going to hold me back. I’m just as strong as a competitor as anyone else.”

Still though, Milo thinks that any one of the finalists could win the title and mirrored ball trophy.

Milo Manheim and Witney Carson head into the studio for dance rehearsals on Tuesday afternoon (November 6) in Los Angeles.

The DWTS team are headed into the semi-finals this coming week on the show and we can’t wait to see their performances.

In a new interview, Witney opened up about how they both keep the positivity up during practice.

“Obviously, you’re going to get frustrated with yourself or with your partner or with the situation, and I think it’s really important just to take a step back and take a deep breath,” Witney shared. “That’s what we do. If we’re ever frustrated, we just take a second, we go away, we collect ourselves, and then we get back into it.”

She adds, “It is a stressful situation, but Milo and I have a great connection. If he’s really frustrated, I kinda lift him up, and vice versa. But we don’t get frustrated too often.”

Witney also opened up about still keeping in touch with her previous partners on the show.

“I’ve been very blessed to have some amazing celebrity partners. Alfonso [Ribeiro], obviously — he’s like my brother. And I still talk to Von Miller all the time, I still keep in touch with Carlos and Alexa [PenaVega], and Frankie [Muniz] was a special partner, too. And I think I’ll know Milo forever.”
