Daniela Nieves has taken to Twitter and opened up about the cancellation of W.I.T.S. Academy.

The 18-year-old actress, who starred as Andi on the Every Witch Way spinoff, sent her love and an apology to fans who were upset about the show’s untimely ending.

“Srsly makes my heart hurt seeing all the posts asking abt the show being cancelled & hearing abt how much you all loved it. It means so much,” Daniela wrote.

She continued, “I love you all soso much & im so srry i wasnt allowed to tell u sooner. It made me really sad to have to say goodbye to Andi. Both shows and the memories i made will forever be in my heart you guys changed my life i love u.”

The WITS Academy star chatted with us about the show, how he got his start in acting, and more!

JustJaredJr.com: Tell us about how you got into acting!

Ryan Cargill: I actually started in a community theatre, in Texas, after my mom made me go. Three days in, I was hooked, and was dragging her to all the auditions.

JJJ: What was your audition for WITS Academy like?

RC: Surreal! I went in thinking “all I can do is bring everything I have to it.” I wound up watching David Schwimmer on Friends, to get a comedic rhythm and to calm me down. I didn’t think I had the part, and was actually looking for a waitering job, the night before I got the role.

In “It Must Be Magic”, Ruby (Kennedy Lea Slocum) and Emily (Meg Crosbie) get stuck in the Dyad tree during the end-of-term carnival, so the guardians and trainees work together to save them and the tree.

Let us introduce you to the super talented Jailen Bates!

The young actor stars as Ben on Nickelodeon’s new show WITS Academy, which follows Every Witch Way‘s Andi (Daniela Nieves) as she becomes Guardian to two of the Magical Realm’s toughest W.I.T.s at a school for young witches and wizards in training.

“I can’t believe I get to work with Daniela Nieves!” Jailen told JJJ. “She is so great on the show, awesome voice and so nice!”

He added, “The show is so fun to do! I think people are liking the drama and funny stuff. It is a really cool show!”

1. I started to read fluently when I wanted to do community theater at 5. I love reading scripts!

2. I landed my very first audition in L.A.

3. I am a Valentine kid, born on February 14!

4. I was born in Indiana, but have lived in both the Bay Area and L.A. areas.

5. I have celebrated several of my birthdays on cruise ships. It’s my favorite way to travel.

6. My favorite food is pasta with butter – no sauce!

7. I love to make short films with my big brother.

8. I was on student council for third grade.

9. I like to drive my brother crazy by singing.

10. I loves theater and performing in front of a live audience.

The young actress stars on Nickelodeon’s new show WITS Academy, which is a school for young witches and wizards in training, where Guardians are assigned to help develop student’s magical powers and get them ready for graduation.

Kennedy stars as Ruby, a 16-year old who beneath her candy-coated facade is a ruthless manipulator. She will go to any length to get what she wants, and what she wants is magic powers- she’s the only powerless witch in her entire family.

JustJaredJr.com: Congrats on the show! How was the premiere week for you?!

Kennedy Slocum: It’s a little surreal to see it all. Especially with the format of the show being daily instead of weekly, I’m seeing three months of work go by in only one month. It’s exciting to see it all put together with the magic, but it’s also terrifying to know that the season finale is only three weeks away.

JJJ: You filmed in Miami right? What was that like?

KS: I loved filming in Miami! Although the heat wasn’t necessarily ideal, the location we had for shooting the outdoor scenes was beautiful. I also loved the people there and being introduced to new cultures. Cuban coffee is my new obsession.
