Demi Lovato Leaving 'X Factor' After This Season

Demi Lovato is exiting her role as a judge on The X Factor, People reports.

The 21-year-old entertainer reportedly wants to focus on her music career.

“She plans to spend next year completely focused on her music,” a source told the mag. “She had a great run and a good time.”

Demi is gearing up for her Neon Lights headlining tour, which kicks off on February 9th in Vancouver, Canada. She will be joined by Cher Lloyd, Little Mix, and Fifth Harmony.

UPDATE: Simon Cowell told THR, “I always knew she wasn’t coming back because she’s touring, so I knew that.”

Alex & Sierra Move Demi Lovato to Tears on 'The X Factor'

Alex & Sierra captivate the audience as they hit the stage during X Factor on Wednesday night (December 11) in Los Angeles.

The couple brought judges Demi Lovato and Kelly Rowland to tears with their amazing rendition of “Gravity” by Sara Bareilles.

“I KNOW!! Why do I ALWAYS CRY?!! Haha RT @TKARD: hahaha @ddlovato is a MESS. you got me all emotionally tangled with you bb. @AlexandSierra3,” Demi tweeted.

Fellow finalists Carlito Olivero and Restless Road also impressed with their performances.

One act was sent home during tonight’s (December 12) episode of The X Factor to make the final Top 3!

This week was anyone’s game as the judges � Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell, Kelly Rowland, and Paulina Rubio � were impressed by most of the performances.

In fact, Alex & Sierra‘s version of “Gravity” made it to the No. 2 spot on iTunes this week with “Little Talks” at No. 15! Meanwhile, Restless Road hit No. 10 on the Country Chart with “Wanted,” and Carlito Olivero had three tracks in the Top Latin Chart. The over 25′s contestant Jeff Gutt also did really well, hitting No. 1 on the Rock Chart with his cover of “Hallelujah.”

Emblem3 Performs & Announces Headlining Tour on 'X Factor' - See the Dates!

Emblem3 returns to The X Factor stage to perform on Thursday (December 5) in Los Angeles.

The guys – Drew Chadwick and brothers Keaton and Wesley Stromberg � sang their latest single “Just For One Day” and announced that they are going on their first-ever headlining tour!
