More new photos from the upcoming season five premiere of Riverdale have been released!
In the new stills, we get more of a glimpse into the prom, as well as shirtless KJ Apa and Zane Holtz in the ring.
Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa teased back in March 2019 that Katy Keene‘s KO Kelly (Holtz) could be making an appearance on Riverdale.
You’ll also see in the episode and the stills that Vanessa Morgan doesn’t appear to be pregnant as most of the premiere episode was already filmed before the show’s production was shut down due to the pandemic.
She did reveal a little spoiler about how the show will handle her pregnancy!

Katy Keene has been cancelled!
The Riverdale spinoff’s time on The CW has come to an end, but it will look for another home, Deadline reports.
As fans know, the series’ fate has been up in the air for months, and was even left out when The CW revealed it’s 2020-2021 schedule.
Katy Keene followed the lives and loves of four iconic Archie Comics characters — fashion legend-to-be Katy Keene, singer/songwriter Josie McCoy, performer Jorge Lopez/Ginger, and “It Girl” Pepper Smith — as they chase their twenty-something dreams in New York City… together.
The show starred Lucy Hale in the title role, along with Ashleigh Murray, Jonny Beauchamp, and Julia Chan.
Other CW shows that are still up in the air include the Arrow spinoff, Green Arrow & the Canaries, and the The 100 prequel series.

Looks like there might be another Katy Keene and Riverdale crossover coming up!
Creator of both shows, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared a hot new photo of stars Zane Holtz and KJ Apa on the set of Riverdale.
“The #Riverdale/#KatyKeene crossover America NEEDS right now! Two new AMAZING episodes on the #cw this week! 🥊⭐️🎢⌛️👩❤️👨🔥💋💃🏻☠️,” he captioned the pic of the guys shirtless.
Zane also shared a photo that really got fans talking that he is in fact, going back in time and making an appearance on Riverdale.
He posted a photo on his Instagram Story of the Pop’s Chock’Lit Shoppe sign outside the diner. Check it out in the gallery!

The cast of Katy Keene has a lot to be excited about!
The new show hasn’t even premiered yet, and it’s already been picked up for 13 additional episodes, Deadline reports.
While it’s unclear if the pickup is in addition to the episodes already done for season one or a second season, a few of the stars are saying it’s an early season two renewal.
Stars Lucy Hale, Ashleigh Murray, Zane Holtz and Katherine LaNasa have all reacted to the exciting news.
“This is a great way to start the year ❤️ the amount of joy this show has brought me, I can’t even put into words. THANK YOU !!” Lucy shared on social media.
“This makes me so unbelievably happy,” she added on her Instagram story.
“Second season pickup before our airing is PRETTY EFFING AMAZING!!!” Ashleigh wrote on Instagram story.

The next morning, it was announced that Lucy would join Ryan Seacrest in Times Square as a new co-host for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show on New Year’s Eve!

Lucy has previously hosted the celebration from New Orleans, and will be taking the place of Jenny McCarthy, who announced earlier this year that she wouldn’t be returning so she can spend time with her son.
