- Dakota Fanning is being tapped to play Dorothy Gale’s granddaughter in a remake of The Wizard of Oz, reports The Daily Express. The movie will be “darker and more action-packed” according to one Warner Bros executive.
- Cars will be re-released as a limited edition gift set on November 10th, the same day as Up and Monster’s Inc.. When released, Cars: Ultimate Cars Gift Set will feature a Disney Combo Blu-ray release, which includes a DVD copy of the film, along with two die-cast models of Lightning McQueen and Mater.

They’re remaking the Wizard of OZ? I don’t care if it has a “darker” twist. Classics, that were amazing the first time, really shouldn’t be redone. Alice in Wonderland has a free pass because the first one was a cartoon and did not follow the books. Sigh.
Shenae is a bit trailer park (just look at her name!) and her show is awful.
