OlderMadeline Carroll Gets Flipped
Madeline Carroll keeps it simple and sweet as she attends the premiere of The Karate Kid held at Mann’s Village Theater in Westwood, Calif., on Monday night (June 7).
The 14-year-old actress is the star of the upcoming Flipped!
Also starring Shane Harper and Callan McAuliffe, Flipped, follows Bryce (McAuliffe), who declines the affections of eccentric neighbor Juli (Carroll), when they are second-graders. But in junior high, she is the one put off by his lack of character.

I read flipped way back in the day. It’s a cute story and Wendelin Van Draanen was a great author. Her Sammy Keyes seres was my favorite in the sixth grade.

OMG! i LOVED this book! i had no idea it was being made into a movie though! they completely changed it from the looks of things. it’s not supposed to take place in the 50′s? it’s modern day. and bryce is supposed to have dark hair. julie is an alright choice though. still looks like it will be a cute film!
