OlderSelena Gomez: I Would Love to Sing with Cory Monteith
Selena Gomez and Cory Monteith put on their surprised faces as they snap a pic at the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards with The Palazzo Las Vegas at the Hammer Museum backstage on Sunday (December 12) in Westwood, Calif.
The twosome, who are in the upcoming Monte Carlo together, found it hard not to break out into song while on the set.
Selena shared with MTV, “I remember Leighton [Meester] and I would sing on set on ‘Monte Carlo,’ and Cory would be like, ‘I just left Glee.’ And then he’ll sing with us too.”
She added, “He loves singing and I’d love to sing with him one day, because he’s got a great voice.”

@loldis: she never said it was her career. In fact she says the only reason she sings is because she enjoys it. She may not have Demi’s singing chops, but it’s not like she can’t hold a tune. What’s wrong with that?

She can’t sing. But then neither can I, and if someone handed me a record deal I’d still take it, I still like singing and it’s a lot of money. But then I also feel bad- don’t you think she’s taking up someone else’s place in the music industry? I know a girl who is an amazing singer and is trying her hardest to break in to music, but it’s impossible because of sorry but people who can’t sing like Selena and Cheryl Cole. Just the truth. Sometimes I think it’s partly to do with greed. :/

@lulu: i feell the same. my best friend’s family is full of really good singers, beautiful voices, but none of them wants a record deal. they think music is not about record sales but that is all that matter now. sales and money it doesnt matter if you have talent or not. Music is part of their life, like everything. they just enjoy music. i admire them so much.

okay, uhhm. I absolutely love cory and his voice! Now, he’s one of the stars that CAN sing. Selena does sing, but does she have the talent? I guess you can say she improved but singing with cory will only humiliate her. this is what I think though, no offense, but I think Cory’s voice will overpower hers.
