Robert Pattinson smiles for photographers at a photo call for his new movie, Water for Elephants, on Monday (May 2) in Barcelona, Spain.

The 24-year-old actor recently opened up to the Daily Record about his fear of the circus!

“The first time I went to a circus, one of the clowns died,” Rob said. “He had a joke car and it exploded.”

Yikes! We’re happy he was able to overcome his fear to do Water for Elephants.

Robert also shared his favorite animals to work with: “The easiest animals were the lions, tigers and elephants. They don’t get nervous, and are usually sweet and very confident.”
