OlderCorbin Bleu: 'Hairspray' Opening Night!
Corbin Bleu twirls Diana DeGarmo around on stage as they perform during opening night of Hairspray on Friday (August 5) at the Hollywood Bowl.
The 22-year-old actor plays Seaweed J. Stubbs in the play and he opened up to LA Stage Times about playing the iconic character.
“I feel he has the coolest songs in the show. I love him. First of all, this project itself is a revolutionary piece because of what the time period stands for and how it’s fighting segregation. The character is a force with that. Even throughout the fight, he keeps his cool the whole time. He’s so soulful and brings everyone together,” Corbin shared.
