Abigail Breslin is one busy lady!

The 16-year-old actress has just signed on to play Julia Roberts‘ daughter in the upcoming film, August: Osage County, reports Deadline.

In the movie, Abbie‘s character Jean Fordham lives on the edge – She’s apparently a 14-year-old angry pot smoking teenager!

The drama also stars Meryl Streep and is based on Tracy Letts‘ play that chronicles several summer weeks in the life of a severely dysfunctional family.

August: Osage County is scheduled to start filming this fall in Oklahoma.
