Thomas McDonell Films '10 Things I Hate About Life'

Thomas McDonell films new scenes for 10 Things I Hate About Life alongside Evan Rachel Wood on Monday afternoon (January 7) in Malibu, Calif.

The 26-year-old actor will star as Ben in the upcoming flick, which is expected to debut in 2014.

10 Things I Hate About Life follows two desperate young souls saddened by childhood trauma who meet while each is attempting to commit suicide. Love develops and the pair realize life is worth living. The couples new love is thrown off course by the sudden re-appearance of Nadine, Ben’s materialistic ex-girlfriend, who begins pursuing Ben now that he has a record deal.
