Robbie Amell Joins CW's 'Tomorrow People'

Robbie Amell has just joined the CW’s new show, Tomorrow People.

The 24-year-old actor will play Stephen, a tormented young man who longs to be normal and is relieved when he learns that he’s not crazy, but rather part of a group of genetically superior Tomorrow People (via THR).

In addition to gifts of telepathy, telekinesis and teleportation, Stephen also possesses the ability to stop time.

Tomorrow People, also starring Peyton List (of Mad Men) and Luke Mitchell, revolves around several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. Together they work to defeat the forces of evil.

Currently, Robbie can be seen on NBC’s 1600 Penn.

Congrats, Robbie!
