John DeLuca has signed on to play the lead role in the coming-of-age comedy Staten Island Summer!
According to THR, the young actor is set to play a young, hunky Italian lifeguard named Anthony whose dream of joining the Navy seems unlikely.
Staten Island Summer revolves around Harvard-bound Danny (Graham Phillips) and his unambitious best friend Frank (Zack Pearlman) who decide to work as lifeguards during their summer before college. Anthony (DeLuca) forms a partnership with Danny that proves beneficial for both parties.
Production is slated to begin later this week in New York.
