It was sweet that Emma Stone honored Gilda, but naturally my heart was missing the Queen of SNL, and sad that we don’t have Gilda herself with us, to share this momentous event. Gilda, I will always miss you. You were one of the “makers” of SNL. Roseanne Roseannadana’s news review of stopping smoking, which lead into the Dr. Joyce Brothers sweat ball commentary – could writing ever be that wonderful again? No. It was perfect, and Gilda played it perfectly. No one can hold a candle to Gilda.

To All those who made the show so special – to them I say, “Cheers!”.

Jane Curtain, you still rock it, lady! Amazing. You have remained so spot on! Thanks for all the talent you’ve shared with us.
