Sam Smith Tweets About Upsetting Verbal Assault on His Friend
Sam Smith‘s friend was the victim of a verbal attack and the singer has said he was left speechless by the moment.
The 23-year-old Grammy-winning artist tweeted about the moment, which happened in the early morning hours of Wednesday (January 20) in London, England.
“Just experienced my friend getting verbally abused racially in London. I am absolutely SPEECHLESS,” Sam tweeted.
“I never ever ever ever thought that would happen here. Absolutely speechless and hurt,” Sam added along with several other tweets about the verbal assault.
Sam has been having a good month other than this moment as he won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar for his song “Writings on the Wall” from Spectre.
