The Vamps' Connor Ball Skips Tokyo Show, Flies Home for Knee Surgery

Brad Simpson of The Vamps takes a selfie with his fans while arriving at Narita International Airport on Monday (February 1) in Tokyo, Japan.

The 20-year-old singer was joined by his band mates James McVey and Tristan Evans.

Noticeably absent was Connor Ball, who had to abruptly fly home for knee surgery after suffering an injury.

“Sadly our main man @TheVampsCon twisted his knee on stage in Hong King and after seeing a doctor has been advised to fly home for surgery,” The Vamps wrote on Twitter. “He sends his apologies and love to you all! Hopefully he will make a speedy recovery. The three of us will still be playing shows and can’t wait to see you all there!”

Feel better, Connor!
