Michael B. Jordan Wins Entertainer of the Year at NAACP Image Awards; Writes More Thanks on Instagram

The 28-year-old Creed actor picked up the honors for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture and Entertainer of the Year.
“NUTS!!! So excited! I know exactly how @officialslystallone felt after the globes! He is amazing and it was an honor to work with the legend! To the other nominees tonight I am beyond thrilled to have been mentioned with you guys! Misty Copeland, Viola Davis, Pharrell and Shonda Rhimes!” Michael shared in an Instagram post after his speech.
He continued, “I also want to say that at these award shows we honor actors artists and entertainers but there are a lot of people making a difference in our communities doing positive things. To all the young people at home – DON’T feel like the only path you have to choose is JUST an entertainer. I challenge you to become the best version of yourself. Create the next formula or medical procedure. Become a chemist, engineer, lawyer, politician, writer director, producer. You living life to your full potential inspires me!”
“Those are the stories that Hollywood needs and those are the stories I will tell!” Michael added.
