Selena Gomez Responds to Becoming Instagram's New Queen

Selena Gomez overtook Taylor Swift for the top followers spot on Instagram on Monday (March 14), and she has something to say about it.

The 23-year-old “Same Old Love” singer took to Instagram later in the week to post a Snapchat taken by her makeup artist Hung Vanngo in which the two joke about Selena being the “Queen of Instagram” as she blows a kiss to the camera.

Selena captioned the video, “THANK YOU guys for all the love! So appreciative ALSO: just know that I’m fully aware being most followed isn’t what’s important. It’s how you use your platform. Not how big it is.”
