You may know Bryce Gheisar from Disney Channel’s Walk the Prank. But did you know he’s about to star in a huge YA movie based on the best-selling novel Wonder?!

We love Bryce and wanted JustJaredJr readers to get to know him even better, so we asked him five important questions.

JJJ: Describe the moment you realized you were good at acting and wanted to do it for the rest of your life.
Bryce: Right when I walked into my first acting class I sort of realized that I always loved being on stage and performing in front of people. My family has always been helpful and supportive with my career, and I am very grateful for their support. In the beginning, I had to prove it to them to a little bit, and show them that I was okay with doing all of the hard work that comes along with being an actor. Once I showed them that they were all on board. Acting does take up a lot of time, and they wanted to make sure I was ready for that.

JJJ: How have you learned to deal with audition rejection?
Bryce: I have learned to deal with rejection because of my mom. She always tells me this quote, “If it doesn’t open, it’s not your door.” That quote has always helped get me through auditions, and it really helps me gets me through audition rejection. It is also a great quote to use throughout life.

JJJ: What made you audition for Wonder, which comes out in November?
Bryce: I was obsessed with the book after we read it in school. After reading the script, I wanted to play the lead character of Julian, because I wanted to show kids that that bullying is not cool. This movie is going to help kids with bullying issues at school, and after being a part of this movie, I would love to get involved more and help out with anti-bullying foundations.

JJJ: Do you have any secret hobbies or hidden talents?
Bryce: I have always loved drawing. Whenever there is pen and paper around, I start drawing, and I always just draw whatever comes to my mind.

JJJ: Who’s the last person you texted more than five times in a day?
Bryce: The last person I texted was my friend Brandon Severs from Walk the Prank. We are really close friends.
