Harry Shum, Jr.'s Dance Scene in 'Shadowhunters' Won't Be Anything Like Cable

We all know that Harry Shum, Jr. is a really incredible dancer — we mean, we was in Step Up 2 and Step Up 3.

Earlier this year, we found out that Magnus was going to have a dance scene on Shadowhunters and our minds instantly went to Cable — but Harry insists it won’t be like that at all.

“We made sure Magnus is dancing like Magnus,” he shared. “I tried to bring Magnus’ dancing flare into the sequence.”

He adds, “So that was really fun, and what I can say is, there’s gonna be fun magic; it’s a magical dance, so there’s going to be magic involved with the dancing and that’s gonna be exciting. That’s all I can say.”

Harry actually choreographed the dance for the show himself.
