Yara Shahidi Makes Her College Pick Instagram Official & It's SO Impressive!

Yesterday, we noticed that College-ish star Yara Shahidi commented on Harvard University’s Instagram — and it turns out we were totally right to be suspicious!

The 17-year-old actress took to Instagram last night to confirm that she is going Ivy League after all, just like her character Zoey in Black-ish.

Yara posted an adorable picture of herself smiling in a Harvard University sweatshirt, shedding all doubts that she might be attending another school.

“‘The paradox of education is precisely this – that as one begins to become conscious one begins to examine the society in which he is being educated.’~ James Baldwin,” she captioned the photo, adding: “#CrimsonPride.”

She earlier said that she will be studying sociology and African American studies, Teen Vogue reports, but we noticed that on Harvard’s Instagram post she wrote she was excited to “be a social studies major.”

If there’s anything we know about Yara, it’s whatever she does, she will do it well.
