Nina Dobrev Joins Two New Movie Projects - Details

Nina Dobrev is filling up her days with not just one, but two new movie projects, according to Deadline.

The first is Lucky Day, a thriller co-starring Michael Madsen and Luke Bracey. She’s filming in Toronto right now.

Nina will take on the role of Chloe, a French speaking artist wife of an ex-con and mother of his daughter at the center of Lucky Day, which all takes place over a single unpleasant day.

The second is Dog Days, where Nina play Good Day Seattle host Elizabeth, who relies on her pet through life and work stresses, including the un-welcomed advances of an on-air colleague.

“The things I want to do aren’t necessarily the things that are expected of me,” Nina told harper magazine recently. “I don’t want to play a teenager anymore.”

She added, “I want to play adult roles and be challenged and work with great filmmakers and tell incredible stories, and that has meant being really picky.”
