One Direction is tearing up the charts, and they’re breaking records by doing so as solo artists.
The band has become the first group ever to have three spin-off soloists with number 1 songs on Billboard‘s Pop Songs radio charts.
Liam Payne solidified the achievement with “Strip That Down,” which hit #1, replacing Niall Horan‘s “Slow Hands.”
Zayn is the other 1D member to hit #1 with a pop song with “Pillowtalk” May 2016.
It’s only a matter of time before Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson join their band members on the pop charts.
Not only is it record-breaking how well all five of the 1D members are doing as solo artists, it’s also extraordinary.
