The Riverdale fandom is definitely an intense one, but Cole Sprouse wants to make one thing clear: his brother will not be appearing on the show.
In a new interview, Cole dismisses any notion that Dylan will ever guest-star on Riverdale.
“I wouldn’t want it,” the actor tells Glamour. “Dylan would never do it, and I think it would break the fourth wall too much.”
“A lot of my fans from the Suite Life still come up and say, ‘This would be fun!’ I think it would just be silly. It would be super, super weird and totally not appropriate. I also just don’t think Dylan wants to; to be honest, I wouldn’t want to either. People want to see us on screen together again, and that’s fine. That’s flattering, I guess.”
This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise — after all, Cole has said he will only work with Dylan if it’s the right kind of project, and Dylan doesn’t even watch Riverdale.
Sorry, team. But there is a hot new actor slated to play Betty’s brother, so get excited about him instead!
