Kiernan Shipka Was Brunette When She Auditioned For 'Sabrina'

Remember how Ross Lynch had to dye his hair for the role of Harvey Kinkle for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina? Turns out, so did Kiernan Shipka!

In a new interview, the 18-year-old actress revealed that during her first audition for the role of Sabrina, she was actually a brunette!

“I had long, dark brown hair during my first audition and was really just living my best life,” she revealed to Glamour. “I’ve always been blonde, so it was like, ‘I’m free from the blond hair!’”

Kiernan adds that she “figured if I got the role, I’d probably have to dye it, which was fine, but after my audition they were like, ‘We gotta have you audition again, and we think you need blond hair for it.’”

She did dye it back to blonde, thinking that “if I don’t get it, I’ll have blond hair for a bit and that’s fine.”

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres on Friday, October 26th on Netflix.
