'Nancy Drew' Stars Sophia Lillis & Zoe Renee Dish on Seeing Strong Female Friendships in The Movie

Sophia Lillis and Zoe Renee are opening up about the strong female characters in the Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase film.

The two stars opened up in an exclusive clip about how the movie empowers young girls, while also featuring super strong characters for them to look up to.

In the flick, Nancy gets the opportunity to use her detective skills to help solve the ghostly activity at the Twin Elms mansion.

Recruiting her best friends George and Bess, along with local “mean girl” Helen, Nancy Drew is on the case.

Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase is on digital TODAY, March 26th and Blu-ray and DVD on April 2nd.
