Cole Sprouse Would Absolutely Work With Brother Dylan Again, But Not As His Twin

Cole Sprouse is just one of the stars on the cover of Variety‘s Power of Young Hollywood issue.

The 27-year-old Riverdale star is opening up about how he almost went out for another role on the show, being grateful to his Disney days and working with brother Dylan again. Check it:

On landing the titular roles in Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack & Cody: “It was the golden ticket. At the time, being the leads of a sitcom as kids was the most stable job we could think about in the industry. In terms of technical acting, it’s only 30 minutes long. My brother and I were really thankful for it.”

On how his mother introduced him to acting at a young age: “My mother and father divorced at a young age. I never knew them to be together. Our mother was really the main fuel for us to pursue acting. We booked a diaper commercial, and that got the ball rolling.”

On how he was invited to audition for the role Riverdale‘s lead, Archie, but instead asked for the outcast part: “I said this is a little bit more my style. And I just kind of read it like [The Twilight Zone's] Rod Serling.”

On possibly working with his twin brother, Dylan, again: “We’ve talked about it. The whole kitschy twin thing, I don’t think that really sells anymore. It’s about feeling passionate for acting again. If it’s a cool project, I don’t have a problem with that.”
