Pixar Wins First Ever Emmy Award For 'Forky Asks a Question'

Pixar Studios have just won a 2020 Emmmy Award!

The studio behind some of your favorite films Toy Story, Cars, Inside Out, The Incredibles and so many more just picked up it’s very first Emmy Award for Best Short Form Animated Program for the animated short series Forky Asks A Question.

The winning episode of the series is episode five, “What Is Love.”

Creator Bob Peterson and producer Mark Nielsen pre-recorded thank you speeches for the occasion.

Bob and I partnered with a crew of Pixar’s best and brightest,” Mark said, via Deadline. “So we share this with everyone at Team Forky Shorts, along with everyone at Disney+.”

In Bob‘s speech, he paid tribute to Tony Hale, who voices the character, as well as other stars of the episode, Carol Burnett, Mel Brooks, Betty White, and the late Carl Reiner.

This Emmy win for Forky Asks A Question brings Disney+ to a total of six wins so far at the 2020 Emmy Awards. The Mandalorian has also picked up a handful of awards, the first for the almost one year old streaming platform.
