Jessica Brown Findlay Films 'Winter's Tale'
Jessica Brown Findlay goes back to Victorian times while filming Winter’s Tale in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (December 5).
The 23-year-old British actress stars as Beverly Penn, a young, dying girl who falls in love with Peter Lake (Colin Farrell). Russell Crowe also stars.
Based on the novel by Mark Helprin, the story follows Peter Lake, an orphan and master-mechanic, who attempts to rob a fortress-like mansion in an industrial Victorian New York City.
The fantasy movie is expected to debut in 2013.

Currently filming Winter’s Tale, audience’s were shocked to see the 23-year-old actress killed off of Downton Abbey.
Even on-screen sister, Michelle Dockery is missing her: “We knew a couple of weeks prior to filming the episode what was going happen to it felt like this huge build up. One of the last scenes we shot with Jessica was where the sisters say goodbye to her, and me and Laura Carmichael [Lady Edith] were just devastated playing it.”
Michelle added, “We’ve spent three years of our lives together so Jessica going was as wrench. I miss her laugh, it’s really distinctive.”

Jessica Brown Findlay graces one of three covers for Glamour UK‘s November 2012 TV Special issue.
The 23-year-old British actress shares the cover with Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara and Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks.
“I think that makes TV so special is that it’s so accessible. There’s this little box in your house and you can tune in and it’s there. And it’s so needed,” Jessie shared during her cover shoot.
She added of her favorite programs, “I absolutely love Mad Men, and am constantly going back to AbFab.”

Jessica Brown Findlay is full of drama on the cover of Love magazine’s Autumn/Winter 2012 issue, out on stands now.
The 22-year-old Downton Abbey actress was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for the issue and wore a plunging, cream silk vintage dress by Vivienne Westwood.

Jessica‘s on screen sisters, Michelle Dockery and Laura Carmichael grace the two other covers for the special issue titled “A Costume Drama.”
“For the past two autumns, fashion’s most influential figures have been avidly watching ‘Downton Abbey’…This autumn, we’ll be wearing it,” the mag boasts about the issue.

In a recent Twitter interview with Glamour UK mag, Jessica revealed that she’s not really like her Downton Abbey character, Sybil.
“I’ve come from a different background but I’m stubbornly independent. She’s braver!” Jessica shares.
Earlier in the week, Jessica was honored as UK TV Actress of the Year at Glamour UK’s Women of the Year Awards.

The 22-year-old Downton Abbey starlet, in Valentino, took home the UK TV Actress of the Year award, which was presented by Jason Isaacs.
“Thanks lovely! Thank you very much to GLAMOUR. I’ve read GLAMOUR forever, and I even did the vote thing so it’s very surreal to be up here… Thank you to all the wonderful, wonderful women of Downton, it’s amazing to work wiht all of you,” Jessica shared on stage.
