In the spring premiere episode “Smokin’ Like A Virgin,” Amy (Woodley) reveals to Ricky (Kagasoff) and her family that she wants a long engagement and is not quite ready to get married yet. Amy also contemplates summer school, while Ashley (India Eisley) surprises her family by returning home.

Ben (Ken Baumann) is interested in Dylan (Ana Lucasey), the new girl he met at the graduation party, but her parents want her to be cautious while Leo encourages Ben to ask her out. But, it turns out that Ben should be the cautious one as it turns out that Dylan and her friends Raven, Mercedes and Wendy might be trouble.

And, Adrian (Francia Raisa) and Grace (Megan Park) decide to put their boy trouble aside, move in together and attend summer school to support each other over the break.

“Smokin’ Like A Virgin” premieres Monday, March 26th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC Family.

Ken Baumann, Jared Kusnitz and Daren Kagasoff all hit the red carpet at the premiere of The Descendants held at AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater on Tuesday night (November 15) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The three stars came out to support actress Shailene Woodley, with whom they star alongside in The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

“The Descendants was incredible. Just great filmmaking and terrific performances. Shai killed it!!” Jared tweeted.

One Secret Life of the American Teenager couple just made a MAJOR commitment!

In the summer finale “And Cirumstance,” Amy (Shailene Woodley) starts to unravel Ricky’s (Daren Kagasoff) proposal plans, but no one will give her any information. In the meantime, Ricky grows increasingly nervous about preparing his valedictorian speech, which is full of heartache as well as surprises.

Once graduation has commenced, the Grant High students embark on what is to be the night of their lives. Just as the party is in full swing, Grace (Megan Park) is stunned to see Daniel’s ex-girlfriend, while Lauren (Camille Winbush) refuses to hook up with Jesse. In the end, two unannounced visitors arrive, delivering one final wish for Adrian (Francia Raisa).

It’s hard to choose just one favorite book — JJJ Book Club has tons — and it looks like Ken Baumann does too.

The 22-year-old Secret Life of the American Teenager actor AND author wrote into the club to tell us just why he can’t choose a favorite. Check it out:

What is your favorite book and why?
I can’t offer up just one favorite. No, seriously; every time I try to type just one the spirits of literature all rise up and swirl around me and it’s really uncomfortable. Some of my favorite books are “The Passion According to G.H.” by Clarice Lispector, “Cat’s Cradle” by Kurt Vonnegut, “Human Smoke” by Nicholson Baker, “How It Is” by Samuel Beckett, “There Is No Year” by Blake Butler, and lastly… the two books I’ve had the pleasure to publish: “The Complete Works of Marvin K. Mooney” by Christopher Higgs, and “The Angel in The Dream of Our Hangover: Aphorisms” by Mark Leidner.

What’s the first book you remember reading?
“The Berenstein Bears and the Big Road Race“, probably.

Do you judge the book by its cover?
Absolutely! Something beautiful is something beautiful.

How do you feel about all the books being made into movies?
There are examples like The Shining, directed by Stanley Kubrick, that totally salvage all the bad adaptations that have been made, but I like it when films try to tell an original story. That said: I’m also happy when a book finds a bigger audience because of its filmic brother/sister/weird nephew.

In the upcoming episode “One Foot Out the Door,” There’s an emergency with John resulting in Ricky (Kagasoff) and Amy (Shailene Woodley) taking him to the ER.

Meanwhile, Adrian (Francia Raisa) wants Ben (Ken Baumann) to tell her how he really feels while Betty (Jennifer Coolidge) reaches out to Adrian and attempts to get her to talk about her emotional state.

Francia Raisa and Ken Baumann are about to go through something we haven’t really seen on television — especially with young adults.

The two Secret Life of the American Teenager stars sat down with press to chat about Adrian and Ben losing their child at the bitter end of Adrian’s pregnancy and opened up about the hardship of it all. Check it:

How does this loss affect both Adrian and Ben?
Francia Raisa: Adrian was really just all about having this baby. Her whole life revolved around it right now. She’s had a baby shower, she is getting married, she is starting a new life, and then for all that to be just be crashing down and I mean, there’s no baby now, so, it really affects her. It affected me as well to shoot the episode. It’s something that I’d hope never to witness again.

Ken Baumann: It was rough. It’s a material that as actors we feel very lucky to take on because it is such a challenge, and represents an experience that you don’t often see on TV. So you feel lucky to be able to portray that, and give those people, who had the unfortunate experience, give them some representation, make them feel like they’re thought of, too. But at the same time, it takes an emotional toll on you. You’ve been just living in that situation for a short amount of time, it’s rough, it’s terrible. Nobody wants that to happen. So, yes, it was both strenuous and really pretty incredible opportunity. Ben was devastated as anyone would be, and he’s going to have to struggle for quite a long time to recover.

There might be a lot of kisses in these new stills from the upcoming episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, but with them, comes a tragedy.

In “Or Not to Be…,” Adrian (Francia Raisa) and Ben (Ken Baumann) prepare for the imminent arrival of their
daughter. When Adrian experiences discomfort, the couple – believing she is about to go into labor – are instructed by their doctor to leave for the hospital.

Ben and Adrian agree not to call anyone until they know more, but as word spreads she is in the hospital, family and friends gather there to share the joyous occasion. But the couple learn some devastating news that will change their lives forever and will need those closest to them for support.
