The 2011 Imagen Award Nominations are out!

The event, which honors and recognizes the positive portrayals of Latinos in the media, will be hosted next month by actress and nominee Maria Canals-Barrera.

Selena Gomez, Bella Thorne and Victoria Justice all received nominations in the Best Young Actress in Television category!

Alexa Vega also scored a nomination for Best Actress/Feature Film for From Prada To Nada.

The 2011 Imagen Awards will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on August 12th.

Grace Gummer and Maria Canals-Barrera steal the red carpet spotlight as they premiere their new film, Larry Crowne, held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday night (June 27) in Hollywood.

The twosome star as Lala and Natalie, classmates of Tom Hanks, who plays the title character.

The flick follows Larry as he gets fired from his life-long job and reinvents himself by going back to college.

Maria, wearing a red hot David Meister dress and Swarovski jewels and clutch, once told JJJ that working alongside Tom was, “so great! He’s such a great guy and his work ethic is fantastic. it was a pleasure working on this film.”

Grace is wearing a gorgeous Honor gown with David Yurman’s Wheaton Cuff and Waverly Bracelet and carrying a Kotur clutch.

Jennifer Stone is beautiful in blue as she arrives at the 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards held at the USC Galen Center on Saturday (April 2) in Los Angeles.

The 18-year-old actress was joined by her Wizards of Waverly Place costars Maria Canals-Barrera and Gregg Sulkin on the bright orange carpet.

Maria stopped to chat with JJJ on the carpet about how Theresa is handling the upcoming wizard competition. “I don’t know how she does it!” she shared, adding, “Just the thought that one of them will have all this power…I can’t wait to see who wins.”

Gregg and Maria are also pictured at the GBK Gifting Suite held at the SLS Hotel on Friday afternoon (April 1).

FYI: Jennifer wore a gorgeous BCBG by Max Azria dress, Rene Caovilla shoes, and Tacori jewelry. Maria wore a Tadashi Shoji dress with a Swarovski clutch.

Jadin Gould holds up a cute little gnome as she attends the premiere of Gnomeo and Juliet held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood last weekend.

The 12-year-old actress was joined on the carpet by Ryan Ochoa, Maria Canals-Barrera and Matthew Timmons.

Gnomeo and Juliet, which opens on February 11th, is a modern-day telling of Romeo and Juliet…as garden gnomes!

The cast of Wizards of Waverly Place gather around writer and producer Peter Murietta as they accept the Emmy award for Outstanding Children’s Program at the 2010 Creative Arts Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (August 21).

The movie was up against it’s TV counterpart, iCarly, Hannah Montana and JONAS. Reactions to the win soon!

Chloe Bridges and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle pose with their Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam mama Maria Canals-Barrera as they attend the opening of the new Disney store in Montebello, Calif., over the weekend.

The trio, plus Maria‘s darling daughters, were treated to a tour of the new store design. The Montebello store is actually the first of 20 newly designed Disney Store locations that will open across the United States and Europe this year.

The new stores also feature “shop by character or theme” application, the Disney∙Pixar CARS-branded RIDEMAKERZ attraction where you can customize your own CAR, a full theater, the “Pixie Dust Trail,” and the Disney Princess Castle with Magic Mirror.

Maria Canals-Barrera pulls Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam costars Demi Lovato and Chloe Bridges close as they attend the premiere of Disneynature’s OCEANS held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday afternoon (April 17).

The Wizards and Camp Rock 2 momma tweeted about seeing all her costar pals at the premiere and afterwards, headed to see The Perfect Game with her own family.

OCEANS boldly chronicles the mysteries that lie beneath the surface of the waves and opens in theaters on Earth Day (Thursday, April 22).
