The Host summary: Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact. Most of humanity has succumbed. When Melanie, one of the few remaining “wild” humans, is captured, she is certain it is her end. Wanderer, the invading “soul” who has been given Melanie’s body, was warned about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the glut of senses, the too-vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn’t expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.

The flick, also starring Max Irons, Diane Kruger, and Jake Abel, opens on March 29th, 2013.

Max Irons places a kiss atop Emily Browning‘s head as they arrive at the 2011 amfAR Inspiration Gala held at the Pavillon Gabriel on Thursday (June 23) in Paris, France.

Emily, 22, wore Louis Vuitton to the event which is held in celebration of men’s style that benefits the Foundation’s innovative AIDS research programs.

It was just recently announced that Emily would be joining Magic Magic, alongside Michael Cera and Juno Temple.

The flick is about a girl vacationing with her friends in Chile who slowly starts to lose her mind.

Emily Browning keeps close to boyfriend Max Irons as they attend the IFP cocktail party sponsored by euphoria Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Collection held during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival in France on Thursday evening (May 12).

Inside the party, Emily, 22, reunited with Vanessa Hudgens and chatted with Francisco Costa and Jessica Chastain inside the party.

Earlier in the day, Emily attended a photo call and premiered her new film, Sleeping Beauty, at the festival.

Emily Browning steals the spotlight in a lace Valentino gown as she arrives at the premiere of Sleeping Beauty during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival held at the Palais des Festivals on Thursday evening (May 12) in Cannes, France.

Earlier in the day, the 22-year-old actress got dolled up in a green silk printed dress from Louis Vuitton during the photo call for the film. She was joined by costar Rachael Blake and director/writer Julia Leigh.

Emily and boyfriend Max Irons were also spotted at Nice airport, arriving for the festival and keeping very close together. They’re so cute!

Emily Browning and boyfriend Max Irons cozy up in the back seat of a car as they leave The Supper Club in Los Angeles after the premiere of Sucker Punch on Wednesday night (March 23).

The 22-year-old actress recently chatted with MTV about another aspect of the film — the makeup and costumes!

Emily shared about her experience, “It was weird because we went from three months of training—I’d had no makeup on for three months. I’d been sweaty and gross and wearing sweatpants…and then I’ve got three pairs of eyelashes on.”
