The Disney Channel is in the early stages of development for a Boy Meets World sequel series called Girl Meets World, according to TVLine.
For the sequel series, the network is looking to bring back Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel to reprise their famous roles as Cory and Topanga, who tied the knot before their hit show ended. The new series would revolve around their preteen daughter.
“I met a woman who named her daughter Topanga,” Danielle recently told EW for the reunion issue of her famous on-screen name. “I had one of the most awesome character names in TV history.”
