Nastia Liukin wows on the red carpet at the 2013 Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation’s A Magical Evening Gala held at Cipriani, Wall Street on Thursday night (November 21) in New York City.
The 24-year-old actress posed for pics with Karen and Eric LeGrand before heading inside to raise monies for the foundation, which is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.
It was just announced that Nastia will be headed to the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics as a correspondent for NBC.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of the NBC team reporting at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi,” Nastia shared. “As both a U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist and as a dual U.S.-Russian citizen whose family has an Olympic legacy in Russia, the Sochi Games will be particularly meaningful to me. I’m honored and excited to be able to bring that unique perspective to Russia’s first winter Olympics.”
