Rohan Chand Promotes 'Bad Words' at Planet Hollywood

Rohan Chand lifts up the spelling bee championship trophy during an appearance at Planet Hollywood Times Square in New York City on Thursday afternoon (April 3).

The 10-year-old actor donated the trophy from Bad Words for the venue’s mini-museum.

“I watched it [Rohan's audition tape] and then came back to it again, after going through the process of looking at what nine-year-old actors out there can do,” co-star Jason Bateman recently shared about casting Rohan in the role of Chaitanya in the new movie.

Jason continued, “He wasn’t yet nine at the time, but he was head and shoulders above the rest; he had all the qualities that the character needed. Rohan often reminded me of when I was a 10-year-old actor. I remembered how I liked to be spoken to and treated as a kid actor, and I did that with Rohan.”
