Demi Lovato got the best birthday present ever last night – her idol Kelly Clarkson covered her current single “Cool for the Summer” at the concert!
The 33-year-old American Idol winner revealed that she sang the song to help Demi celebrate her birthday.
“She’s always been so supportive and so cool,” Kelly said. “To see a kid that used to go to my shows have this huge, lustrous career…she’s just killin’ it. I thought I would, for her birthday, sing ‘Cool For The Summer.'”
“WOW WOW WOW.. @kelly_clarkson thank you SO MUCH for covering #coolforthesummer at your show tonight!!! BEST BDAY GIFT EVER!! *literal tears*,” Demi tweeted after hearing about the cover.
