Alexa PenaVega and pro partner Mark Ballas handle real snakes during their Dancing With The Stars routine on Monday night (October 19) in Hollywood.
The duo tried out a Cha Cha inspired by Britney Spears‘ “Slave 4 U” performance at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, which earned them 30 points!

“Of course, we can’t do that number without a snake,” Alexa wrote in her People blog. “At first, I thought that was going to be intimidating, but now I’m excited about it.”
