'Switched At Birth' Creator Says Series Will End With Season Five

Excuse us while we cry ugly tears…

Switched at Birth is ending after five seasons.

Creator Lizzy Weiss reported the news on Twitter, writing, “This season of #SwitchedatBirth will be our final one. We are ending the show after an amazing 103 episodes with pride, love, and gratitude.”

Starring Vanessa Marano, Katie Leclerc, Lucas Grabeel, Sean Berdy, Constance Marie, Lea Thompson and D.W. Moffett, the cast is currently filming their 100th episode with Gilles Marini.

UPDATE: TVLine reports that this final season will be 10 episodes long, with the last being a 90-minute episode.
