Nathan Sykes Doubts The Future of Union J After George Shelley Left The Band

Nathan Sykes pulls a fan into a hug outside his hotel on Wednesday afternoon (March 30) in Dublin, Ireland.

The 22-year-old singer chatted with fans after picking up a warm cup of coffee ahead of his concert on the Get Weird tour with Little Mix.

Speaking with Digital Spy recently, Nathan opened up about the dim future of Union J after George Shelley left the band.

“I don’t think it’ll work,” he shared. “George was a really strong part of the band. When a band has a lot of success with a certain amount of members, to suddenly introduce another is just a bit strange.”

JJJ Note: As of this moment, the band isn’t replacing George at all. They will remain a trio until the band makes an announcement.
