Kelsea Ballerini's Next Album Will Definitely Have A Pop Influence
Kelsea Ballerini is making us so excited for her next album!
The “Peter Pan” singer recently shared that her sophomore album will still be a little pop-y, but not really pop.
“I think my first record definitely had pop influence, and this one will too. As you hear in the clip of ‘Roses,’ I’m pushing it as far as I possibly can just to see if I like it,” Kelsea shares in a new interview.
She adds, “But, I mean, part of me being a responsible songwriter is testing that and seeing what feels right and not boxing myself in or anything…It won’t be any more pop than the first record was.”
Kelsea is pictured performing for the CMA 2016 Country Christmas taping on Tuesday (November 8) in Nashville.
