The 18-year-old “Mercy” singer just admitted that he would be down to date someone who is a fan of his music.

“Totally. I think there’s no rules, is there?” Shawn told E! News.

But what if the girl freaks out because, well – hello! She’s dating Shawn Mendes?!

“Maybe only like for the first day or two. Get it out of your system, and then we’re cool,” Shawn said.
