Tori Kelly Totally Relates to Her 'Sing' Character Meena!

Tori Kelly can relate to her Sing character Meena, who has a little bit of stage fright!

The 24-year-old songstress explained that growing up, she had a hard time getting on stage too.

“I grew up being really, really shy. I always knew that I loved to sing like Meena and I would get up on stage and just be like really stiff and not know what to do,” she explained on the Today show.

Tori added, “So it took time for me to really grow out of that and realize that this is what I love to do.”

Later, Tori took to the stage to perform “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing” and that evening performed “Hallelujah” on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
