Olivia Holt & Aubrey Joseph Resume Filming on 'Marvel's Cloak & Dagger' Next Month!

Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph are headed back into the Marvel world.

The two stars of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger will be going back into production on the series next month to complete the rest of the episodes for season one.

While some are reporting that they’re actually starting on a second season, but we don’t think that’s correct.

The listing in Production Weekly is listed as “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger 02″ — and the numbers typically refer to the season for which the show is filming.

Cloak & Dagger is resuming filming in July, and will go until October, but unless Marvel and Freeform managed to film the entirety of season one already, these eps are just the rest of season one (nine more episodes).

The series centers on the “interracial romance between Tandy Bowen (Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Joseph), who come from starkly different backgrounds, each growing up with a secret they never dared share with another soul.

Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. They quickly learn they are better together than apart – but their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.”

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger premieres next year.
