Rowan Blanchard, Demi Lovato & More Slam Trump's Press Conference Defending Neo-Nazis
Many young celebrities are speaking out today with outrage, disgust, and sadness after a press conference in which President Donald Trump said “both sides” are to blame for the violence in violence in Charlottesville.
“You had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists,” he said. “The press has treated them absolutely unfairly. Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people but you also had troublemakers.”
Trump also blamed counter-protestors, calling them the “alt left.”
Now young figures in the entertainment industry, from Demi Lovato to Colton Haynes to Cole Sprouse, are now fighting back in droves.
Rowan Blanchard was disgusted by his claim that there were “fine people” protesting the statue being taken down.
