Phoebe Tonkin Says Her Final Scene in 'The Originals' Was A 'Very Emotional Goodbye'

Phoebe Tonkin has said goodbye to The Originals.

In a new interview with W magazine, the Aussie actress opened up about wrapping up her final scene over the weekend.

“It was a very emotional goodbye,” she shared. “I don’t think I’ve totally digested it.”

Phoebe adds of the show, “It has been a really big opportunity for me, and I am so grateful for the last five years, but also really excited to see what is next.”

As for what’s ahead, Phoebe teases a “little break, but also start to work on some different material or different type of role. I was fortunate enough to do this miniseries in Australia, which gave me the bug again to find smaller, interesting, edgier pieces.”
