Meghan Trainor Knew Fiance Daryl Sabara Was The One In First Month of Dating

Meghan Trainor gets a trophy and crown while guest hosting the Today Show on Tuesday (January 23) in New York City.

The 24-year-old singer was surprised with the gifts by host Hoda Kotb to celebrate “All About That Bass” being certified diamond. Congrats Meghan!!

While co-hosting the show, Hoda asked Meghan about how she and fiance Daryl Sabara met, when they will get married, and when we could expect to hear her new music.

“I said, ‘I need you to find me a nice guy,’ and she said, ‘I know the nicest guy in the world. His name is Daryl. Let’s go on a double date,’” she said of getting set up by friend Chloe Moretz. “And that night we count as our anniversary, because it was just …” She then clapped her hands. “I think that’s when I knew,” she said. “He came up to me during bowling and said, ‘I just want to know about you. Just tell me more about you.”
